Restorative circles are one of the most powerful ways to build trust, strengthen relationships, and create a strong sense of belonging in classrooms and schools. In this interactive, hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to confidently plan and facilitate restorative circles that go beyond surface-level activities and create meaningful connections.
This session will walk educators through the purpose, structure, and facilitation of circles for a variety of settings, including morning meetings, community-building circles, academic circles, and responsive circles after harm or conflict.
Participants will:
· Learn the foundations and philosophy of restorative circles
· Experience multiple circle formats as participants
· Practice facilitation strategies in a supportive environment
· Explore circle prompts for different age groups and situations
· Learn how to manage common challenges and resistance
· Leave with ready-to-use circle scripts and planning tools
