$175.00

Friday, 10/25/24

9:00 to 3:30

Peoples’ Choice Credit Union

23 Industrial Park Rd, Saco, ME

Snacks and Lunch Provided

Looking for ways to get students more engaged in their learning, join us to learn how Restorative Practices can provide you with protocols that allow all members of your learning community to have a voice and choice in their educational experience.  Restorative Practices in the classroom encourages equity, supports the development of SEL skills, builds relationships and community, and provides a safe forum for students to express feelings and needs.

In this workshop, you will learn and practice restorative interventions that move students toward empathy and accountability as well as ways to engage students in conversations about classroom climate. These same strategies can be used to introduce, reenforce, and review academic material. You will leave with protocols to help you give your students a voice and choice in their educational experience in exchange for being accountable for their words and actions. Teachers and students establish a classroom learning environment that is safe and caring for all stakeholders.

Limit - 30 participants

For registration, email restorativepracticesofmaine@gmail.com include the names of the attendees, their positions, email addresses and grade levels. An invoice will be provided.
